Room 5 Staff

My name is Mrs. Edith Figueroa, I have been teaching with LAUSD since 1997 and have been at 4th St. Early Education Center since it's opening in July 2013. I studied at California State University Northridge and majored in Liberal Studies. I completed my student teaching at Prairie Street Elementary School in Northridge, California. I gradated from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education.

My name is Christina Rojas, I am an Early Childhood Aide I have 22 years of work experience with children, 16 years working with Los Angeles Unified School District. I've had the pleasure of  working with all ages from infants to school age tutoring. My interest has always been to work with preschoolers.  I've completed my trade in Child Development Growth and it's my goal to pursue my career in Child Psychology. I really enjoy drawing and making different kinds of crafts. In my personal life I enjoy taking long walks with my husband and my dogs. I also enjoy having the pleasure to bond with my nephews and my beautiful god daughter.

My name is Mariella Ponce, I have worked for the school district for more than 10 years. I've been working at 4th St. EEC since July 2013. I graduated from Garfield High School and attended ELAC and UCLA for 3 years.
